Wooleen Station

Wooleen Station

Depart Denham by flying over Hamlin Pool and Overlander Roadhouse to enjoy two days at Wooleen Station, located in the heart of the dramatic Murchison outback.
On arrival enjoy a cup of tea accompanied by a home-baked delight. Settle into your tastefully appointed bedroom in the Nationally Important Homestead built in 1918. In the late afternoon depart with your host and tour guide, David Pollock, to explore the property and learn about its rich biodiversity and cultural significance. End your guided tour sipping on a glass of wine atop a granite outcrop overlooking the 152,000 hectare property.
Return from tour to enjoy a home cooked meal in the homestead’s formal dining room. You’ll be joined by your hosts, station staff and other guests.

After a scrumptious breakfast take a short walk-trail or explore the station museum before boarding your aircraft to fly back to Denham. We also provide transport from Shark Bay Airport to your accommodation return free of charge.

NB: Package only available from the 1st of April to the 31st October each year. Bathrooms are shared facilities. All meals and sunset tour included. Alcoholic beverages are extra charge (except those included in your sunset tour).
